Well, my friend.
You know where the UMNO HQ is in KL?
Head down there and ask them:
a) why for 40 years plus they have blocked the implementation of hudud.
b) why Johor, Kedah, Perak, Sabah, Pahang etc. do not have hudud.
If (as you claim) these are "the wishes of the Malays to practise their religion in their own country", why has UMNO not implemented it in these states long, long ago?

They won't implement Hudud because most of the umno muslim MPS will attend parliament in wheelchairs or crutches. Worst still some will never attend because they were stoned to death....
